The Long Island Sound has always been a special place for Tim and Abby, as this is the place they first crossed paths during years of sailing lessons every summer. The two of them even shared a dance together at a regatta party in middle school. It had been 15 years since they had seen each other when Abby moved back to the east coast in 2023 to finish up Physician Assistant school. During that time Tim's sister Caroline became determined to re-introduce Abby and Tim-despite one small obstacle: Tim lived in New Hampshire.

One rainy night of that spring Caroline set Tim and Abby up on a blind double date with her and Rudy. They played card games and shared laughs on Rudy's family boat- The Nantucket Sleigh Ride- and little did they know this would be the first of many boat dates together. After Tim made the trip driving down from New Hampshire to the coast of Connecticut three weekends in a row, it became clear that something special was starting. Since that first date, they've built a life around the things they love most—summer days on the water, winter weekends skiing fresh powder, and most importantly enjoying dinners around the table with their families.

They are so grateful that our paths crossed again, and even more grateful to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most. Thank you for joining us in Mystic as we begin our greatest adventure yet!
